Fall is Here!!
Fall is here and hunting season has started.
Bear season is in full swing at this time. Bow hunting for deer starts the end of this month and goes thru to the end of October. Then we have a turkey season for about 2 weeks the middle of Oct.. This turkey season is with a bow only. You can pick up you new hunting/trapping law books at this time. You can get them from any license agent or the Dept. IF/W. Or go online http://www.maine.gov/ifw/hunting_trapping/hunting/index.htm .
I will be doing a few more fishing trips till the end of Oct. or till the weather gets so bad that I cannot get the boat in the water. Should be able to catch a few fall salmon and brown trout, and maybe a few other trout species. The fishing this time of year will be trolling only.
